When my boys were in primary school I served as a volunteer on the leadership team for the school's parent teacher organization for many years. I ran meetings, recruited volunteers, planned and worked events. I also worked on many design projects from creating a logo and invitation for the school art show to designing t-shirts.
Now that they are in high school I serve as an officer for the East Ascension High School Band Boosters. Along with chaperoning, taking pictures and running the concession stand at football games, I have also organized a t-shirt fundraiser. I designed several shirt options along with a flyer. We sold them through our Square site. I worked with a local printer to have them made. I have also designed social media graphics to get the word out about meetings and events.
